Passion is an engine, not a steering wheel. When an organisation is driven entirely by high-intensity enthusiasm or raw creative fire, it often overrides the technical constraints of reality.
Feedback Override. The system prioritises “Desire” (momentum) over “Structure” (containment). In physics, energy without a container is just an explosion. Charisma is used to bypass technical reviews, essentially running the engine at redline until the components melt.
The Charismatic Blur. You’ll see a team that is “drunk” on a vision, ignoring obvious red flags and data. There is a “nothing is impossible” attitude that labels any mention of practical limits as “negativity.”
Burnout and Breach. The organisation achieves a spectacular “flash” of success that leaves the team exhausted and the infrastructure damaged. It creates a reputation for being “all talk,” destroying the trust required for long-term growth.
